13th Hamburg Conference for European and SE works councils
Start: Monday, 13 September 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
End: Tuesday, 14 September 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
As every year, our annual conference will be held in 2021, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic not on the usual date in January, but on 13 and 14 September 2021.
Notes on the Corona Pandemic:
This is a presence-only conference, participation via video link is not possible. The Hamburg Corona Rules allow events in closed rooms with up to 100 people. Of course, hygiene regulations must be observed in the hotel, e.g. masks must be worn outside the conference room or outside the restaurant. All persons in the meeting room must present proof of corona: a vaccination or recovery certificate or a negative rapid test. This applies equally to travellers from abroad, from within Germany and to day guests from Hamburg without an overnight stay. A Corona rapid test can be done free of charge near the hotel.
The following rules apply for travelers to Germany from abroad:
1. Vaccinated and recovered persons may enter from all European countries without restriction and without quarantine. In some cases, a digital entry registration is necessary.
2. Unvaccinated persons from high-risk areas (United Kingdom, some regions of Portugal, Ireland, Greece and the former Yugoslavia and the French Mediterranean coast) must be quarantined, which effectively means they cannot attend the meeting. Unvaccinated persons from all other parts of Europe can enter without restriction and quarantine, but need a negative Corona test at the border control, which has to be presented later anyway when checking in at the hotel.
3. Virus variant areas with stricter rules no longer exist.
